Maywufa invested NT$1 billion to expand and upgrade its hair care factory into a new GMP plant, which has become a landmark building beside the Wugu-Yangmei Elevated Road on National Freeway No. 1 and is expected to receive the Green Building Label by year-end. Chairman Cheng-Chia Lee presided over the completion thanksgiving tea reception on September 26. Lee said that in the nearly 50 years since its founding, the company has always kept a grateful heart, continued to innovate, kept improving, and pursued excellence.

Maywufa's Maywufa® brand offers a diverse range of products covering shampoo, body wash, hair color, hair care, and more, all well received by the market. Its hair color creams have long held the No. 1 market share, and its shampoo products now rank No. 1 in market share among Taiwanese brands. By continuing to launch groundbreaking products and pursuing an offline-exclusive strategy, it is extending its market lead.

President Yu-Ju Lai said the new factory is equipped with an automated smart warehousing system that significantly raises capacity and production efficiency, effectively supporting the company's strong business expansion and enabling a rapid response to changing consumer market needs. This upgrade is not only a core cornerstone for expanding into the global Chinese-speaking market but also a major milestone in the company's development.

Vice Chairman Yi-Li Lee noted that construction of Maywufa's new GMP factory began in 2022 and was completed on schedule two years later. It has obtained GMP (Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practice) certification from the Ministry of Health and Welfare and is expected to receive Green Building Label certification by year-end. The new factory incorporates energy-saving, carbon-reducing, and resource-recycling design, demonstrating the company's ESG commitment, actively responding to global sustainable development goals, and continuing to create a positive impact on the environment and society.
